Memorial Day weekend brat-loving Wisconsinites will be attending the first ever People’s Bratfest
The WPBA supports business working to create positive change for the state of Wisconsin.
Why not attend the Johnsonville fest?
The Stayer family, which owns Johnsonville, donated almost thirty-thousand dollars to Scott Walker between 2009 and 2010.
By contrast the People's Bratfest is a grassroots event, who's organizers partnered with local Wisconsin businesses and charities to put on a truly inclusive People’s Bratfest on the Capitol Square.
When: Saturday, May 28th, 2011 at 10am
Where: Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd on the Capitol Square, Madison, WI
Why: Good Brats, Good Thoughts! Come on down and enjoy local entertainment, discussion on important issues affecting our communities, and local meat and meatless brats bought from the Dane County Farmers' Market and local Co-Ops! What better way to show solidarity on Memorial Day weekend?
The 1st Annual People's Bratfest is intended to show the great local variety offered by the people of the Farmers' Market, Madison and the whole of Wisconsin can put on together. All products are purchased from local WI businesses. The event is staffed completely by volunteers. The profits all go to charities who aren't required to do anything beyond continuing their wonderful charitable missions. The ASO cordially invites everyone to attend this event on Saturday, May 28th, 2011 starting at 10am.
ASO would like to thank all of those who have officially endorsed the event (so far):
